The Institute of Brewing & Distilling (IBD) is a members organisation dedicated to the education and training needs of brewers & distillers and those in related industries. We do this by offering a range of internationally recognised qualifications and the training to support them, either through direct instruction or distance learning.

We communicate with our members via a monthly members magazine The Brewer & Distiller International (BDI) and offer original scientific research papers through the Journal of the Institute of Brewing (JIB), which is available quarterly on-line and in paper format. 

This Learning and Resource Centre is designed to be a source of reference material to IBD examination candidates at all levels, and key articles have been specially tagged by the Examiners as especially relevant for Diploma level candidates. As the resource grows it is hoped that this will become useful to all IBD members, not just those sitting examinations, and that all our technical back-catalogue will become available over time.

Over coming months we plan to grow the amount of content available via this Learning and Resource Centre. Material already available in electronic format will be uploaded and catalogued first, any older material will be reviewed for suitability (and modern day relevance) before it is scanned and made available online.
